Railway Walks with Julia Bradbury

Continuing on from her successful Wainwright Walks, Julia Bradbury turns her focus to walks along railway lines, most of which were axed during the Beeching era. On some walks you don't get the same level of access as Ms Bradbury gets - for example walking the Monsal Trail, you don't get to walk through the tunnels (it would a quick and perhaps less interesting walk if you did though!). But these asides, do give you more information about the areas that the railway lines go through and an idea of the times that they were built in.
