The Ordnance Survey 1:25,000 Explorer Map is an ideal map for those wanting more detail - especially those crossing difficult terrian - including ridge walk and mountain scrambles. If you're after some more general maps for hillwalking, then an Ordnance Survey Landranger Map may be more suitable.
