"The Munro Show Series 1 and 2" with Muriel Gray. Back in the early Nineties Muriel Gray, with her shock of spikey blonde hair, set about televising her love of the mountains. Taking a departure from the usual format of woolly jumpers and beards, Ms Gray tackles two walks an episode, giving advice from herself and from experts as needed.
Packed with anecdotes and sketches regarding hillwalking in Scotland, when this series was first aired it was a radical departure to what had gone before (e.g. Jimmy MacGregor and his newspaper filled rucksack!!). Funny and inspirational.
