The John Muir Trust: Named after the Scots born environmentalist, the Trust purchases some of the most scenic land throughout Scotland for the benefit of all.
The Mountain Bothies Association: The MBA, is an organisation that cares for the up keep of many mountain huts (bothies) in Scotland and other parts of upland Britain.
The Mountaineering Council Of Ireland: The MCI like the BMC and MC of S represent mountaineers and other like minded people in Ireland. Visit this site for info on its workings.
The Mountaineering Council of Scotland: The MC of S represents the interests of mountaineers and climbers in Scotland.
North East Mountain Trust: is the environmental body representing mountaineering, climbing and walking clubs in the North East of Scotland. Their interests are both recreational and conservation.
